I’ve caught colds, sniffles, aches and the like. Usually it’s no big deal. However, whatever germ invaded my body the last few days made me wish for death. You know its bad when you don’t want to smoke a cigarette. Just damn! I knew the debilitating illness was heading my direction. The kids got it first, then the wife. I can halt most minor colds with a little vitamin C and extra rest. Not this time! I started too late. I worked 2 extra shifts Sunday and Monday. In my time of sleeplessness and exhaustion, my defenses came down. I’m not going into all the gross details. Just trust me when I say, “It was BAD!” I think I’m going to bed now. I feel ill just thinking about it.

I was reading Acidman’s post on dangerous drivers. It made me wonder why people in cars become so stupid. I used to drive very defensively. Oh the horror! The other drivers frustrate me so! Now I have a totally different philosophy. See, if everyone else is driving defensively, then I’m going to drive offensively. I take control of the road and let all those defensive morons get the hell out of MY way. I don’t endanger anyone else. I just have an attitude. It seems to make driving much more enjoyable.
