Personal responsibility and choices. I don’t really believe in luck. For example, I see a homeless man laying in the gutter. Just a bum I think to myself. He certainly isn’t “less fortunate.” How is the bum “unlucky?” He has made choices and must accept the personal responsibility for those choices. He chose to drunk too much. He chose to do drugs. He chose not to get an education. So when it comes down to it, he chose to be a bum. On the other hand, the wealthy man driving by the bum, made choices too. He chose to study hard in school, get higher education, work hard at several jobs. He chose not to do drugs or have children he couldn’t afford. Luck had nothing to do with it. Success and failure are both habits. They can be learned.

The exile is over! No more AOL! No more sneaking around, hacking into some other computer. Now I can safely surf the web, read news and posts at leisure, maybe even leave a comment or two.
While I was away, the ole email box was crammed with over 550 emails. I think I actually read 3 of them. Anyway, I’ve had lots of time to think and maybe I’ll have some pithy remarks. Stay tuned!
