the Discover Bible School:
Dear Friend,
Welcome to the world's
oldest and largest Bible correspondence school. These guides will take you on
one of the most thrilling adventures of your life! They will help you discover
the answers to life's greatest questions as you search for new meaning and
purpose in today's topsy-turvy world.
You can be a part of a
fraternity of students who have benefited from the Bible courses offered in 67
languages by our 135 Bible correspondence schools around the world. Many tell
us: Studying your Bible guides has led me to experience a happier, more
contented life than I ever thought possible.
You will notice a set of
questions at the end of each Discover Guide. Simply fill in the answers and
return by mail. You will receive a return mail summarizing your answers and the
next Discover Guide will be included. You can study these guides at your own
pace, as slowly or as rapidly as your wish.
The Discover series covers
the major themes of truth in the Bible. Using your own Bible as you study the
course will be helpful. However, if you don't have a Bible you can still take
the course since all of the key Bible references are written out in each guide.
Most of the Bible references in the guides are quoted from the New International
Version since it is an up-to-date, accurate translation that outsells every
other version, including the King James. If you wish to look up texts in your
own Bible, you may use any version of the Bible that you wish.
