A unique group formed at our church to look after our congregation. It is presently made up of 22 women although men are invited to be shepherds if they desire so. Each shepherd has a list , refered to as there "flock" to look after and report on any of their needs, illnesses and etc. Meetings are held once a month on the third wednesday of each month at 10:00 am.At this time the shepherd's give a report on there flock followed by refreshments and fellowship. In october one sunday is set aside as as "Shepherd's Recognition Day" at which they are honored for there loyal work.
Its a great group!
